Karma Points are earned for genuinely useful activity — answering questions, posting a project, and getting that project validated. Trophies are awarded for specific achievements, like winning a contest. Neither has any monetary value; both show up on your public profile and the leaderboard.

How do Tech Levels work?

Your Tech Level reflects your overall standing on the platform, based on a combination of Karma earned, validated projects, and contest performance over time. It updates automatically — there's nothing separate to apply for.

Your notifications cover anything specific to you — a reply, a new validation, a Karma milestone. Your feed surfaces new activity in the categories you follow. You can also follow us on the social links in the footer.

How do I add a project to my profile?

From your profile, open the Projects tab and select Add Project. Fill in what you built, your role, the tech stack, and any links or screenshots, then publish.

Who validates my project, and how?

Accepted Answer

Industry Reviewers — verified working professionals — can open any project and leave a rating, written feedback, and optionally a "Recommend for Internship" flag. Anyone can see who validated a project and read their feedback by clicking the Validated badge on the project.

What is Build & Fund?

A place to list a project that needs funding or collaborators. Other members can upvote it, flag a concern, request to join, or register interest in funding or investing in it.

Does money actually change hands on the platform?

No. Build & Fund connects interested parties — the community facilitates the introduction, but any actual funding or investment is arranged directly between members, off the platform.

What is Partner Hub?
