Cooling was our actual bottleneck, not compute — lessons from a small server room build

Set up a small on-prem rack for a client and underestimated cooling needs completely. Server room hit unsafe temps within two hours under load in summer. Added proper split AC sized for the room plus airflow monitoring — obvious in hindsight, expensive lesson in practice.
