Reserved instances vs Savings Plans in 2026 — which actually saves more for a mid-size team?

We're a 40-person startup on AWS, mostly EC2 and RDS, spend is around $9K/month. Everyone online recommends Savings Plans now over Reserved Instances but the math seems close for our steady workloads. Has anyone actually run both side by side and compared real invoices?
